Newtech records all calls for business purposes, including:

Credit Checks

Where you apply for a credit account with us, we may collect and use your personal information to:

• Verify information you provide, using third-party databases including government agencies, for purposes related to your credit application or account administration, including fraud prevention and compliance with the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing Terrorism Act 2009
• Carry out credit checks with a credit reporting agency for the purpose of making a credit decision, providing a quotation, or meeting legal requirements
• Recover outstanding debts, including appointing a collection agent and listing defaults with a credit reporting agency
• Check the Ministry of Justice fines database for any overdue fines
